Global crude steel production in February 2021

In February 2021, the crude steel output of 64 countries included in the world iron and Steel Association statistics was 150.2 million tons, an increase of 4.1% year on year.

Top 10 countries in crude steel production from January to February 2021

In February 2021, China's crude steel production is estimated to be 83 million tons, up 10.9% year on year;

India's crude steel output was 9.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%;

Japan's crude steel output was 7.5 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%;

Crude steel production in the United States was 6.3 million tons, down 10.9% year on year;

Russia's crude steel production is estimated to be 5.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%;

South Korea's crude steel output was 5.5 million tons, up 1.2% year on year;

Turkey's crude steel output was 3 million tons, up 5.9% year on year;

The output of crude steel in Germany was 3.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.4%;

Brazil's crude steel output was 2.8 million tons, up 3.8% year on year;

Iran's crude steel production is estimated to be 2.3 million tons, up 11.5% year on year.
