ISO 13679 1st cal Ⅳ test is a more rigorous test, which is suitable for tubing and casing used in gas well production and injection. The test procedure is to make the joint bear various cyclic loads, including internal pressure, external pressure, tension, compression and bending.

The acquisition of cal Ⅳ test certificate has become the key and pass for Baotou Steel's special casing products to enter the major oil fields, which has promoted the development of Baotou Steel's oil special pipe market to the direction of high-end and high added value. Up to now, Baotou Steel has provided more than 3000 tons of BT-1 special buckle high-quality products to domestic well-known oilfields.
