The hot rolling upgrading project of Baotou Steel Special Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. signed a contract in September 2018. The project is divided into two stages. At present, the first and second steps of civil engineering of the project are basically completed, and the main process equipment of the rolling line is basically in place and under installation. The main frame, servo cylinder and motor of continuous rolling mill have been installed.

At present, the project has entered the stage of equipment installation in the circulation area and the limited moving area. The main frame, deceleration and main motor of the tension reducer have been installed. The main equipment in the first stage of the finishing area has arrived at the factory, and the auxiliary equipment has been manufactured and successively entered the factory. 80% of the public and auxiliary facilities have been completed, and the dust removal and other related equipment are also in the process of installation.

The project is planned to complete all the installation work in the middle of January 2020, and it is expected to have the conditions for thermal load test run by the end of January.
